My entry for "The Bug" contest by *j-rok
I couldn't decide if I wanted to draw Pilar or her as The Bug. I really like both designs so I figured showing her at a stage of undress would be a good compromise. Originally, I intended to have her face off with one of my OCs, but decided against it because I didn't want to divert attention from her as the main character. So I had to ask "what would be a bug's natural enemy?" For the record, she lost her belt (and helmet) in the fight that led up to this scene. Does she need to look more beat up? Should there be blood? Should I attempt a background? I'm not very good at those >.< I was going to reference Shelob's (from LOTR:TT) cave but I chickened out. I could barely stand to reference the spider. I dunno if I made the spider big enough....okay, I'm done now. |
